Michael Bell Receives PRISM’s Highest Honor

Induction into the Lightbox Industry Hall of Fame

On October 13, 2022, Lightbox inducted Michael Bell into their Industry Hall of Fame. During the awards ceremony, Pat Coyne of Lightbox announced that “PRISM gives their highest honor to an individual who has made career contributions to the real estate due diligence industry. This individual is recognized for years of commendable service, leadership, and dedication to improving the industry.

As the seventh inductee Michael Bell, President of Bell Oldow, an environmental risk management firm stated, “I’m honored to receive this award and proud to join a distinguished group of leaders who have been acknowledged for their industry contributions.”

Michael began his career in the field as a geologist. Then moved on to roles as project manager at three consulting firms, then to Director of Environmental Services at Capital Crossing Bank, a Lehman Brothers company, and currently as President of Bell Oldow. During that time, he became a Certified Professional Geologist and President of the Environmental Bankers Association and earned his MBA.

In addition to serving his clients, Michael has been a Board member of the Lightbox Developing Leaders Program for three years. “I’m really proud to be working on designing and implementing the mentee program that helps young adults, starting their careers, develop networking, communication, and leadership skills appropriate for this industry,” commented Bell. Today, Michael remains close with his mentees Patrick, Brenda, and Madison and delights in their success.
