Andrew Stead

Mr. Stead is responsible for all environmental risk control engineering and client services.

Andy has over 25 years of experience in the environmental engineering, consulting and pollution insurance industry. During his tenure at AIG, Andy performed risk analyses, surveys and facility audits for remediation cost overrun, pollution legal liability, underground storage tank, contractor’s pollution, general liability and casualty business lines. Andy previously spent 10 years as an engineer, project manager and department manager for consulting firms focusing on real estate due diligence assessments, design and implementation of soil and groundwater remediation solutions, and environmental compliance for major oil, commercial, and industrial accounts.

Andy’s area of expertise includes real estate portfolios, Brownfield redevelopment, manufacturing, retail/commercial centers, gasoline stations, power plants, oil terminals, hospitals, higher education institutions, and landfills. His specialties include regulatory compliance, emerging risks and changes to regulatory standards.

Andy is a Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (2000), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (2009), STI SP001 Certified AST Inspector (2014), Associate Safety Professional (2017), and has OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety Training, Mold Assessment and Remediation in Buildings training, Asbestos –  General Industry training, and 40-Hour HAZWOPER and annual refreshers training. Andy earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
